The team below lead our volunteers in activities and events across our churches and schools, if you would like to be part of the volunteer team chat to them at the Pastrow Family Gathering, the 1st Sunday of every month.

Ann – Collective Worship Liaison

Ann’s Favourite Bible Verse:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:9

Sometimes we just have to face challenges head on so we can discover what we are capable of.  The knowledge that God is always with us can provide the strength to get us through. This has helped on several occasions when I’ve found myself at the top of the abseiling tower on school residential trips as I don’t like heights!

Interesting Fact about Ann:

I can pack a fortnight’s worth of holiday clothes into a carry on suitcase!

What Ann loves about Pastrow Family:

Joining the Pastrow Family & FACT has given me the opportunity to take an active part, even when I’m out of my comfort zone.

Alan – FaCT Chair

Alan’s Favourite Bible Verse:

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.” – Luke 7:9

Interesting Fact about Alan:

I work in Cyber Security!

What Alan loves about Pastrow Family:

Coming together as the people of God and supporting each other.

Hilary – Messy Church and Play & Praise Liaison

Hilary’s Favourite Bible Verse:

“So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” – Luke 15:20

Interesting Fact about Hilary:

Nicola – FaCT Communications

Nicola’s Favourite Bible Verse:

Having children & always having something to do with children’s church – my favourite parts of the bible have always been the wonderful stories that we teach children & the lessons that they can learn.

A firm favourite for me has always been the story of the Good Samaritan – teaching us to love our neighbour as we love ourselves

Interesting Fact about Nicola:

I have 2 children; I love to bake; and we love to take family holidays by the sea or in the mountains.

My favourite game is Bananagrams, and am around if anyone ever fancies a game 😊

My favourite part about the Pastrow Family is bringing people / families / children together to support one another, making new friends & having fun whilst spreading the love of God.

My kids would say their favourite bit is taking part in the great crib service plays & the fun activities at Messy Church. 😊
